AJAY SHARMA
Founder Director
With close to two decades in
education, Mr. Ajay Sharma has dedicated his career to helping students navigate some of the most defining choices of their lives. His journey spans test-prep, edtech leadership, and university admissions—giving him a rare 360° understanding of how students learn, grow, and make decisions.
Ajay began his career with IMS and leading test-prep organizations, where he worked closely with students preparing for competitive exams. He later served as the National Head at TimesPro,
the edtech arm of the Times of India Group, where he led student-facing initiatives and built programs that empowered learners across the country.
His work at Vidyashilp University, Bengaluru, heading outreach and admissions, further deepened his expertise in helping students find the right academic and career pathways.
These experiences shaped the foundation of Student Outreach—a space built on empathy, clarity, and genuine student-first guidance.
Ajay believes in seeing the child behind the application and is known for helping students discover their strengths, build meaningful profiles, and make confident, well-informed decisions about their future.

With a strong background in trade finance, global fundraising, and risk management, Mr. Manoj Gunwant brings a powerful blend of strategy, structure, and entrepreneurial thinking to Student Outreach. His deep understanding of global markets, career pathways, and industry dynamics shapes the unique value he brings
to the world of student guidance.
Manoj’s journey across finance, consulting, and entrepreneurship has given him a front-row view of the skills, mindset, and preparation young people need to thrive in an increasingly competitive and interconnected world.
At Student Outreach, Manoj has played a pivotal role in designing our profile-building framework, strategic planning systems and student development pathways, ensuring that every child receives support that is organized, accessible, and tailored to their individual growth.

Head – Guidance
With over a decade of experience guiding students through some of the most important decisions of their academic lives, Ms. Pooja Kaur brings a rare combination of insight, warmth, and strategic clarity to Student Outreach. Her career spans multiple key functions in education—admissions, outreach, communications, and strategy—giving her a deep and holistic understanding of how students grow and what they need to succeed in today’s competitive world.
Pooja has worked closely with several universities, shaping student engagement initiatives, leading admissions conversations, and helping young learners discover pathways that truly fit their personalities and aspirations. This multi-dimensional experience helps her guide students with a perspective that is both practical and deeply empathetic.
At Student Outreach, she leads Guidance and College Placement, working one-on-one with students to build strong profiles, uncover meaningful opportunities, and choose universities where they will thrive—not just academically, but personally. Her ability to connect with students, understand their anxieties, and translate their strengths into clear action steps makes her an invaluable mentor to both learners and parents.
