Your college planning should begin with
self-understanding.
Choosing a stream, course or career should not happen because of pressure, confusion, marks alone, or what everyone else is doing.
At Student Outreach, we help students understand themselves better before they begin making important academic and career decisions. Our psychometric test gives you a clear, structured report on your strengths, interests, personality, aptitude, orientation style and emotional quotient so your next step feels informed, personal and practical.
Take the test. Read your report. Understand your direction

A 5-dimensional view of
who you are becoming
Aptitude
This evaluates your natural ability across different areas such as reasoning, language, numerical thinking, creativity, spatial ability and problem-solving.
Interest
This shows the subjects, careers and work areas that naturally excite you. Interest matters
because students perform better when their choices feel meaningful to them.
Personality
This helps you understand your behavioural strengths -how you work, how you respond to
challenges, how you collaborate, and what kind of environment brings out your best.
Emotional Quotient
This helps you understand how you manage emotions, motivation, relationships, self-awareness and decision-making pressure – all of which matter during school, college and career planning.
Orientation Style
This helps you understand what kind of environment, work style and task orientation suits you best. Some students are more people-oriented, some are more creative, some are more administrative, and some are more information-driven.
How It Works
Step 1: Register for the test
Choose the psychometric test or the guided counselling plan.
Step 2: Complete the assessment
The assessment usually takes around 60–90 minutes. Sit in a quiet place and answer honestly.
Step 3: Receive your report
Your detailed digital report is sent to you within 24 hours
Step 4: Understand your next steps
If you choose the counselling plan, a senior counsellor will help you interpret the report and create a clear academic and profile-building roadmap.
A report gives you insight.
A counselling session helps you use it.
Many students read their report and feel excited, but still ask, “What should I do now?”
That is where the one-on-one counselling session helps.
In the session, we help you connect your test results with real academic choices, such as:
Which stream or subjects make sense for you
Which courses should you explore
Which entrance exams may become relevant
What kind of profile-building activities you should start
What your next 3–6 months should look like
How to plan for Indian and international universities
Which careers match your strengths and interests
Two ways to start your college planning journey

For parents: this is not about
forcing a decision.
The purpose of the psychometric test is not to put your child into one fixed box.
It helps you understand your child’s strengths, interests, personality, aptitude and emotional patterns in a structured way. It also makes conversations at home easier because decisions are no longer based only on fear, comparison or assumptions.
With the counselling plan, we help convert the report into a practical roadmap — so the student and parent can move forward with more clarity
